Nicholas Dour Architects

Glossop Town Planning was engaged by Nicholas Dour Architects to provide planning advice for a 14 dwelling, three storey apartment building built over a basement car park in Wood Street, Preston. The site was a corner site located close to High Street and zoned Residential 1.

As part of this project, Glossop Town Planning prepared a report, which was submitted to Council by the architect. This report provided planning support for this development based on the planning controls and policy context applicable to this site as well as a clause 55 (Rescode) assessment. Glossop Town Planning remained involved with this project on a consultative basis, providing assistance in a response to Council’s request for further information.

The application drew one objection and Council determined to issue a planning permit, subject to Conditions. Glossop Town Planning assisted the architect in determining the affect of each condition and the best path forward for this project.
