This proposal was for a medium density development in Dahmen Street, Carrum. The site was zoned Residential 1, located in an established suburban area and in close proximity to the Patterson River and local shops.
Glossop Town Planning was appointed to act as an advocate on behalf of the permit applicant at VCAT. As part of our role, Glossop Town Planning assisted the client in amending the development plans as well as circulating these plans in line with VCAT’s practice notes. Glossop Town Planning encouraged the applicant to prepare a landscape plan and montage drawings. These documents improved the presentation of the project.
Following these changes, Glossop Town Planning obtained Council’s support in the lead up to the hearing. John Glossop ran the case on behalf of the permit applicant.
Following the hearing, VCAT directed a permit be issued.
